Caution: Beware of Phishing Scam Emails Pretending to Be from Fidelity or Other Financial Institutions

Dear client:

It has come to our attention that scam emails are currently circulating that claim to be from Fidelity Investments. The emails state that your tax documents are available, when in fact they are not. These messages are not actually from Fidelity, and they appear to be a phishing attempt.

Please take care to practice good cybersecurity hygiene: never click on unexpected links or attachments, use strong unique passwords for every website, and always type the URL into the address bar yourself rather than using a search engine.

If you have any doubts or suspicions about emails or other financial correspondence, please reach out to us for advice. Thank you for your continued trust.

Wishing you and your families well,
Sean M. Dowling, CFP, EA
President, The Dowling Group Wealth Management
